CREATE BETTER RESEARCHERS / FAQ
Good questions.
Clear answers.
Find answers about CBR support, planned AI tools, publication decisions, service availability and the relationship with the ISPC.
Who is CBR for?
CBR focuses on researcher development, especially for talented undergraduate students, committed master’s students, and doctoral and early-career researchers. Experienced researchers can also develop as reviewers and mentors. Each service will state its own scope.
Is CBR limited to Digital & AI Management?
This is our starting field, reflecting the ISPC Strategy 2030. Many research and writing skills are transferable. The subject coverage of each service will be stated, and specialist support will depend on appropriate expertise.
Can I upload a manuscript here now?
No. This website explains the CBR approach and planned support. The manuscript development workspace is still being developed. Access details and data-handling information will be published before uploads open.
Is CBR feedback official peer review?
No. The planned AI-assisted feedback supports manuscript development. Official conference review and publication decisions follow a separate process led by the responsible people.
Will CBR help me get my paper accepted?
Our aim is to help you understand and improve your work. Acceptance depends on the independent requirements and decisions of the conference, journal or publisher. CBR cannot guarantee an outcome.
Do I need to participate in the ISPC?
The planned development workspace is intended to be available independently of ISPC registration. Using it will not be a condition for submitting to the conference.
Will ISPC reviewers see my development reports?
The planned systems must keep development reports, draft histories and usage information separate from official review. You will submit your chosen manuscript separately; development records will not accompany it automatically.
What will the services cost?
Fees for future services have not been announced. We intend the research guides and examples to be openly accessible. Any service charges and participation conditions will be published before use.
How will my work and data be handled?
Before a service accepts manuscripts, it must explain the responsible operator, data use, service providers, retention and deletion options. Those details are not yet published here. Please do not send unpublished work through a general contact channel.
Can I contribute as a mentor or institutional partner?
We plan opportunities for teaching, reviewer development, mentoring and knowledge exchange. Roles and a contact route will be published once responsibilities and capacity are defined. Existing ISPC partners are preferred partners for future collaboration. ISPC affiliation does not automatically confer a CBR partnership or role; responsibilities must first be agreed.
Do I have to use AI support?
No. Using AI assistance is voluntary. You decide whether to use it, assess its suggestions yourself and choose your final manuscript. Neither use nor payment should influence an official publication decision.
